David Cross Band – Plays King Crimson

David Cross Band – Plays King Crimson

Additional Info

King Crimson alumni DAVID CROSS and his LARKS’ TONGUES BAND will tour North America in the Fall of 2024, celebrating the King Crimson Trilogy albums from the band’s 1972-1974 period, when Robert Fripp’s led band released three seminal legendary albums: LARKS’ TONGUES IN ASPICSTARLESS AND THE BIBLE BACK and RED. The band will perform entirely the Lark’s Tongue In Aspic album and most of the musics from other two albums, plus some improvs, very characteristic for the live King Crimson band from those days when Robert Fripp was accompanied by Bill Bruford, John Eaton and Jamie Muir.

DAVID CROSS is an English electric violinist and keyboardist best known for playing with progressive rock band King Crimson from 1972 to 1974. Cross appears on their studio albums Larks’ Tongues in Aspic (1973) and Starless and Bible Black (1974), as well as “Providence”, a live track on Red (1974), in addition to numerous concert recordings that have been released by Robert Fripp’s Discipline Global Mobile label in the decades since.
