Last night would be one of the 5 largest event Is have booked. Not capacity, but production. 2 at Massey Hall, 2 at Meridian Hall (Sony Centre one, Meridian Hall one, Maybe I should just call it the O’Keefe Centre. 🙂 ) And one at Arrow Hall.
The production that goes into making these events happen is quite different than just booking a rock club like the docks or Opera House. There are shows I have booked at Sound Academy/Kool Haus which have attended higher than Massey hall and O’Keefe centre. And some of those have demands and requirements greater than others. Its the creation and delivery of the event that is of a different magnitude.
Anyhow, I survived another one, it took two postponements form 2020 to make it happen 3rd times a charm. In the end it was a mostly smooth day. I know Einar, the band and crew were genuinely happy.
