Twas the week before Christmas and still feeling meh
I sit at my computer composing today
Gifts are all wrapped and under the tree
Daily walks for the doggy, and also for me
my boy is all happy, a feeling of joy
will Santa or daddy bring him a new toy.
I need something to come’ long and brighten my mood
Tomorrow I will hear a lot of ‘Hey Dude’
Those greetings will surely bring a nice smile
I hope it sticks’round and stays for a while
