To get back to daily writing.
There are still a few things that may prevent this from happening, which I cannot be discussing here at this point in time. Making daily entries is something I do miss, and will attempt to commence again doing so.
Friday I ventured to Montreal (Laval) to see Mercyful Fate, as I had failed at attempting to secure a Toronto date, and knowing this very well may be the last time they will tour in North America, it was worth the drive. I spent 24 hours with some awesome people and got to see a wicked show. All material from the first 3 albums and one new song. King asked ‘are you enjoying these 40 year old songs’ hehe. I had the opportunity to say hello to him after the gig. Kreator played as well, Missed Midnight unfortunately.
I was at a Tim Hortons ‘On Route’ and was a bit dismayed by something I saw. Not my number one choice for coffee, when it is the only choice, you have not choice. Anyhow… I’m happy stores are allowing travel mugs again. Doing my part for the environment, I hand over my Yeti coffee mug and ask for a Medium coffee, which I know the mug holds. Â To my shock, they poured a medium cup of coffee to ensure the ‘measure’. Next they poured over the coffee into my mug and then tossed the cup in the trash. The illusion of helping the environment is only an illusion. I cannot verify this, but if this happened at one Tim Hortons, I would not doubt it happens at all of them.
