Greetings, for the next little bit I dont think I will be able t get a 10am daily blog posted. So for anyone who is following or reading, now they will just be posted at random the the time allows.
I follow a few interesting money saving pages pin instagram, one of them is from Calgary and always shares SCOP – SCOA tips, which in case oy did not know is Scanning Code of Practice (or accuracy)
I have found items on my own over the years and always take advantage. This summer past, I went back to Walmart 3 days in a row for some ‘gourmet’ burgers for camping. 3 Days in a row a free pack of burgers. Nobody bothered to correct the price.
Luke wanted a shirt for swimming, so we ventured there tonight to see if we could get one, and I remembered this post on IG from today, that shows a pretty massive SCOP score from Walmart, so Luke and I price checked a few items. We didnt score as big, but we still walked out with a box of wings for 1.68$ and a free tub of ben and jerrys caramel ice cream as they were both priced wrong. The casher didnt seem to care (I have had a couple try to correct the price and not honour the ‘code’ which FYI is visible right at the cashier.) Which made it all pretty smooth. Also cashed in a coupon for a free bag of ‘greenies’ for Dio, so in the end I took home over 25$ worth of free groceries (and paid for a can of cream corn which is being used for tomorrow nights dinner
Happy new year, hope you are all well!
