Good morning! Lovely day today I think I’ll be taking a motorcycle ride down to Toronto to run a concert today.
The Queen died. We have a King now. I saw people making fun of King Charles being on our currency and somebody shared a news piece stating the mint does not need to change our currency I was thinking about this after seeing this I had some thoughts. Not that I really give a fuck about either of them, but this guys waited around his entire life for his mother to die so he could become king. It’s a shame bad he did not abdicate the throne to William. Passing the monarchy to a younger generation who may be slightly more in touch with reality.
Anyhow back to out currency. In America I know Lincoln and Washington still on bills and coins I’m not sure who else because I’m not American so I don’t need to know who are all the presidents on their money is. They keep stately figure heads or presidents/founding fathers, as they call them down there on their bills. I do know that in Canada when the queen or king died our country has changed our coins and bills to reflect the change of monarchy. Perhaps because this woman reigned for 70 years, they can keep her immortalized on one bill or coin but I don’t understand why they won’t put King Charlie on the remainder. Give the guy his comeuppance. Truthfully I have other things to worry about, so I’ll stop giving a fuck until maybe next year when they mint our new coins.
Pretty stoked to see Krisiun tonight. And Revocation. It is their record release date. I think I have a pretty good party for lined up for them at Lees palace. The pre-sales are pretty good for this event. can always use more ticket sales but it’s not absolutely horrible.
It’s Motorfest in town tomorrow if I wake up early enough after todays show so I think I will take my Firebird down and go hang out in the park.it will be my first time taking my car to one of these events. It could be fun.
