Last night was pretty freaking spectacular. What an amazing show! It was great to see Hatebreed, and they included the exodus cover that appeared on online in their set. That was pretty awesome. Black Label Society always delivers the goods. What a set by Anthrax. I wish they  could have played a whole hell of lot more. A good two hour set. They did cover their entire career musically as well as a couple of covers that were really big for them. I mused to an associate of mine about them playing Joe Jackson’s ‘got the time’ in their 40th anniversary set saying I would’ve preferred an original although it was a massive video and probably a breakthrough hit for a band I was surprised my associate did not know it was a cover song. But does that make it strange that I was happy they played bring noise?
I did get my Spreading The Disease album signed up for the rest of the band. That did make me happy.
This new venue History, it’s pretty nice. Big, accessible, well laid out. I don’t know what drink prices are like as I had my motorcycle there so I just drank water all night people seem to like the venue so I’m excited to be back in there in December with Amon Amarth.
In case you missed it I announced Katatonia yesterday for November 18th and will be announcing another show perhaps this afternoon.
Tomorrow At The Gates! I’m signing off for today, cheers.
