I’m writing. As promised. They say its good stimuli for the brain to write for 15 minutes a day, so that is a bit of the purpose of this blog, t0 help keep my mind stimulated. Perhaps as well to share some of the inner workings of the music business, maybe the occasional walk down memory lane. And even or some creative writing.
What will come today, I am unsure, things are a bit difficult these days in my world, they come and go in spurts, and somethings cannot be elaborated on, others can. they may not come in these writings, but they may just come out in general over time. One Never knows.
I hosted a couple wicked shows this week, It’s a pretty busy week in the Toronto music scene , so I’m grateful for those who attended these events. Haunt and Entranced were pretty awesome, unfortunately I didn’t get to see Seven Sisters and the next day, Clutch absolutely ruled at Rebel. Always a great time when they come to town!
Speaking about Rebel, what a difficulty time to get to this venue, yes I know. Also I do see the complete reconstruction of the area, and hope that within a year or so, this will all be better. Rome as not built in a day. And neither was the reconstruction of cherry street. Driving in, I felt sorry for the one construction employee. How difficult it must be to work with seven supervisors overseeing his job. I’m positive they are ensuring he is doing his job proper.
May attend an event this weekend, extracurricular outings. to perhaps boost my spirits. Today would have been Moonspell, unfortunately it was cancelled, a nd now the next event I have through is Monuments, a week today.
