The Aristocrats Live In Concert

Share this article:

Sunday, at the Opera House, we will be hosting our third concert with The Aristocrats. This is quite the step up for this show. Unfortunately I feel the state of the world with Covid and its aftermath and the  escalating costs of living and events have hindered the attendance for this event.

If the pandemic had not happened, playing the opera house would have made sense. First The Aristocrats packed the Mod Club in 2015. They packed Lees Palace in 2019. The logical step for the next venue is the Opera House. A few days remain before this event is scheduled to take place, we still hope a last minute rush for tickets for this event may still happen. This is not to say tickets for the show have not sold well. If we were not in a post covid world, I feel this event would have been maybe 150 tickets further ahead than it is as of today.

Mixed messages come in for how events are attending in America, whee the majority of bands tours are taking place. Attendances are down in some cities. Other cities have packed venues.

The amount of talent on stage is incredible. If you follow the link above, there is reference to whom Guthrie Govan, Bryan Seller and Marco Minnemann are. Provided you may not already know whom they are. This event is not one to be missed. It is ‘an evening with’ concert.  Expect a full two hour plus set for this concert. If my blog does convince you to attend, show up prepared to be mesmerized!

The Aristocrats - Inertia Entertainment

A little story from their first Toronto performance in 2015.

This actually happened immediately after the concert. The band had loaded out and had drove off. I had finished settling up payments with my team and venue. Walking outside to my motorcycle to gear up and head home, I suddenly heard a loud pop. A second one rang out, followed by a third and fourth. It was distinguishable. Gunshots across the street. In front of revival. I witnessed the shooters running off. Immediately many cruisers and ambulances were on the scene. An individual was shot in the back. Multiple times. In front of the venue. From what I understand none of the bullets were fatal, and he survived. Nobody cooperated with the police, and some guy was running around yelling how they better watch out drawing lots of attention to himself. Later I did learn this shooting most likely was retaliatory. Having spawned from the OVO murders a week earlier.
